TextSupport Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-23

These are the rules for using TextSupport. Please read them.

TextSupport is a service of Agor AI. Agor AI is a business of Ariel Agor. Its legal business name is SANSPNASH. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean TextSupport and Agor AI. "You" means the person who texts us, or the person who pays for someone else.

How you agree to these terms. Our first text links to these terms. If you keep texting us after that, you agree to them for any free help we give. Before you pay anything, the page where you add credit asks you to check a box saying you agree. Paid use is covered by that agreement.

Questions? Email support@textsupport.org.

2. Who can use TextSupport

3. SMS program terms

Program name: TextSupport.

What it does: TextSupport sells tech help by text to its own customers. You text us a question about a phone, computer, tablet, TV, printer, Wi-Fi or other tech. We text back steps to help you fix it. We only answer people who start the conversation.

Our number: 1-888-914-8398

How you join: You join by texting our number. We never text a number that has not texted us first. We never send marketing texts.

How often we text: Message frequency varies. We only text you in reply to your texts. Account notices, like a note that credit was added or that auto top-up is on, come in our reply to your next text (and by email), never on their own. If our system is slow, you may get a short "one moment" note before the answer. If we can't answer at all, you get a short note saying so instead of silence. No marketing.

Program fee: Once you have bought at least $10 of credit, your first problem is free (up to 10 of your texts; not for VoIP and some other line types). Otherwise each text exchange uses credit equal to our cost plus our overhead share (12% now), plus 13%. We estimate this is usually 8 to 10 cents a text. It is paid from prepaid credit you add starting on textsupport.org. When you add credit, you also pay a 3% service fee and the card fee. Nothing is added to your phone bill by us. See section 5.

Cost of messages: Msg & data rates may apply. Your phone company may charge you for texts, based on your plan. This is separate from the program fee.

Help: Text HELP (or AYUDA) to 1-888-914-8398 for help. You can also email support@textsupport.org.

Stop: Text STOP to 1-888-914-8398 to stop all messages. These words also stop all messages: STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, OPTOUT, REVOKE, and in Spanish ALTO, PARAR, CANCELAR or BASTA. Asking us in plain words to stop (like "stop texting me") works too. You will get one text confirming you are opted out, and then no more. To come back, text START (or UNSTOP).

Stopping also turns off auto top-up. Any of the stop words above turns off auto top-up and removes your saved card. Your paid credit stays yours, and you can still get it back (section 8).

Other words you can text:

Text this What it does Charged?
BALANCE Shows your credit. Free
NEW Starts a new problem. Free
AUTO OFF Turns off auto top-up only. Your texts keep working. Free
REFUND Asks for your unused paid credit back. We then tell you the amount. Nothing happens until you text YES REFUND. Free
YES REFUND Confirms REFUND. Your refund starts and auto top-up turns off. Free
GIFT and a code Adds credit from a gift or partner code. Free
HUMAN Tells you how to reach real company support. Free
DELETE Starts deleting your saved info. You must then text YES DELETE. DELETE does not stop texts. To stop texts, text STOP. Free
YES DELETE Confirms DELETE. Free
GO Says go ahead with a step we warned you about (a step that can erase something). We then send the step. A plain YES does not do this. Charged like any text
NO Backs out of a step. We then look for another way. Charged like any text
DONE Says you finished a step. We then send the next step. Charged like any text

During your free first problem, GO, NO and DONE are free like all your other texts.

Spanish: You can text us in Spanish, and we reply in Spanish. The Spanish stop and help words above (ALTO, PARAR, CANCELAR, BASTA, AYUDA) work the same as the English ones, and so do these: SALDO (BALANCE), NUEVO (NEW), AUTO NO (AUTO OFF), REEMBOLSO and SI REEMBOLSO (REFUND and YES REFUND), REGALO and a code (GIFT), HUMANO (HUMAN), BORRAR and SI BORRAR (DELETE and YES DELETE), and SIGA (GO). A Spanish summary of these program terms is at the end of this page.

Carriers: Phone companies (carriers) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts can be late or lost for reasons we do not control.

Age: You must be 13 or older to use this program. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree for you.

Privacy: See our Privacy Policy at textsupport.org/privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services. (For example, our text provider, Twilio, needs your number to deliver our texts.)

5. How pricing works

What you pay

There are two parts to the price:

  1. Each exchange uses credit. An exchange is your text (or a group of texts sent close together) and our reply. Each exchange uses credit equal to our cost for it, plus our overhead share (explained below), plus 13%.
  2. Adding credit has a service fee and a card fee. When you add credit, you pay a 3% service fee and the card fee on top of the credit. See section 7.

So there are two charges that are our profit: a 3% service fee on the credit you buy, and a 13% markup on each text's cost (with the overhead share included).

What "our cost" means. We do not get a bill for each text as it happens. So we work out the cost of each exchange from the rates posted at textsupport.org/pricing. Those rates come from what Twilio, the phone carriers and Anthropic charge us. Our cost has three parts:

  1. Your texts to us. What our phone provider (Twilio) and your carrier charge us to receive them. Photos cost more than plain texts.
  2. Our replies. What Twilio and your carrier charge us to send them. A long reply is sent in parts, and each part costs a little.
  3. The AI. What Anthropic charges us for the AI to check your texts for safety, read them and write the reply.

We add these up, add our overhead share, then multiply by 1.13. That is the credit the exchange uses (your "debit").

What the overhead share is. We have fixed monthly costs, like our phone number and website. Our scam and crisis help is free. The overhead share spreads those costs over paid texts. It is a percent of our cost for each exchange.

What we do not charge you for: replies we throw away and never send (for example, when you text again while we are writing, or when our safety check makes us rewrite a reply), and the one-time check of what kind of phone line you have.

An example

This is only an example. Real numbers change with your carrier, your message length and the AI work needed.

These are estimates. We estimate a plain text uses about 8 to 10 cents of credit, and a text with a photo more. We have not yet measured real costs over many users. Once we have, we will post the real numbers at textsupport.org/pricing.

Where the rates come from, and checking them

Our current rates are posted at textsupport.org/pricing. Each month we check what we charged against our real bills, and we post the results on that page.

What is always free

We never charge you for:

If we made a mistake, text us or email support@textsupport.org and tell us what went wrong. If we agree it was our mistake, we add the cost back to your credit.

Your first problem is free once you have bought $10 of credit

6. We tell you the cost before we charge you

Before we ever charge you:

7. Adding credit

Credit you get 3% service fee Card fee Sales tax You pay
$5.00 $0.15 $0.46 $0.00 $5.61
$10.00 $0.30 $0.62 $0.00 $10.92
$25.00 $0.75 $1.08 $0.00 $26.83
$50.00 $1.50 $1.85 $0.00 $53.35
$100.00 $3.00 $3.39 $0.00 $106.39

8. Getting your unused credit back

9. Auto top-up

Auto top-up is optional. It is off unless you turn it on.

Who can turn it on: only the person who uses the number, on a pay link we texted to them. Auto top-up is not offered on textsupport.org/family or when buying gift codes. It is never turned on by text.

How it starts: On the pay page, you will see a box for auto top-up. The box is unchecked. Auto top-up starts only if you check it yourself.

What it does: When your credit drops below $2.00, we add the amount of credit you picked and charge the same card for it, priced the same way as any top-up (section 7): the credit, plus the 3% service fee, plus the card fee. For example, a $10 auto top-up adds $10 of credit and charges $10.92. This keeps going each time your credit gets low, until you turn it off.

What we tell you first: Before you check the box, the page shows, near the box and in plain view:

Confirmation: After you turn it on, we send a confirmation to the email you gave at checkout. It repeats these terms and tells you how to cancel. We also send an email receipt each time we charge your card. We also tell you it is on in our reply to your next text.

Reminder: At least once a year, we remind you by email that auto top-up is on, and how to turn it off.

How to cancel:

Texting AUTO OFF, using the website or texting STOP turns it off right away. If you email, we turn it off as soon as we read it, within 2 business days. Either way, if we charge your card after the time you asked us to cancel, we refund that charge in full.

We confirm that auto top-up is off. Cancelling does not remove your credit. Unused paid credit can still be refunded (section 8).

Limits: Auto top-up will not add more than $100 of credit in one calendar month. The limit counts credit only: the 3% service fee and the card fee are on top and itemized on each receipt, so a $100 auto top-up adds $100 of credit and charges $106.39. If a charge fails, auto top-up turns off. We tell you by email and in our reply to your next text.

If we change auto top-up terms: If we change the price per text (including the overhead share), the service fee, the trigger amount, the top-up amount or the monthly limit, we email you at least 7 days (and no more than 30 days) before the change. Auto top-up then pauses. It only starts again if you confirm on textsupport.org that you want it under the new terms.

10. Paying for someone else, gift codes and partner codes

Paying for a family member or friend:

Gift codes:

Partner codes:

11. No guaranteed result

12. You stay in control of your device

Steps that can erase things need your GO. Some steps can remove data or settings. Examples are a factory reset, deleting files or apps, uninstalling software, or resetting a router. Before any of these, we tell you what could be lost. We wait until you text GO (SIGA in Spanish). A plain YES is not enough: we ask again. If you text NO, we will not go ahead, and we will look for another way.

Back up anything important before big changes. We are not responsible for data you lose after you texted GO for a step we warned you about.

13. Things you may not do

You may not use TextSupport to:

If you do, we may refuse to help, stop replying, or block your number. If we block you, we will still refund your unused paid credit, unless the law lets us keep it (for example, if the payment was fraud).

14. Safety help

If you tell us about a scam in progress, or if we think you are in danger, we may stop the normal steps and send you safety information instead. The scam emergency steps (at most once every 24 hours per number) and crisis contacts are free for everyone. Scam follow-up replies are free up to 3 every 30 days, or 10 every 30 days once you have bought at least $10 of credit (section 5). This help may include official contacts like your bank (using the number on your card), AARP, the FTC, 911 or 988.

15. Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep, for how long, and who helps us run the service (Twilio, Anthropic, Stripe and Cloudflare). Read it at textsupport.org/privacy.
